Ah Last year was wicked, we had a mega all day garage session the next day in Salisbury just a short hour away on the train. EPIC skate weekend.

last year i was at gurston the nest day.. also in salisbury but more fun no doubt

im pretty sure i wont be doing it next year... ive done it 2 years in a row and its a bit of a laugh, but shit surface+skating a long way just arent my idea of fun.

for those interested im sure you'll enjoy it though.

4)Seriously though, any idea when?
Last two years has been the 1st Saturday of June...

5)...likely to be 6th June this time?

6)I need to start planning my skate year.

1)Yes.
2) Who knows.
3)See above.
4)Not yet, its December 2008.
5)Maybe?
6)Go to Almabtrieb.

it has been suggested that The Bath to Bristol anual Charity skate take place on 'international go Longboarding day' which is on the 14th june I think (i could be wrong) What do people think of this idea?

My own personal input is that if I am going to do anything longboard related on 'international go longboarding day' then I would much rather spend it on hills. But thats my own thoughts, longboarding for me is synonymous with skating hills. But everyone is different.

How about somewhere different?:

e.g. Swansea train station to Mumbles Pier (along the coastal cycle track) and back?, it's the same distance

Although having (to by pass?) Singleton Park in the mid section might be a distraction :D

im definatly up for it! ok it was abit of a shit surface but the atmosphere and just sheer stoke for it was what made it worth it and stupidly fun, plus this year we all plan to come in some form of stupid clothing.
